I don't write code. Can I use this?

Yes. That's who kits are for. If you can paste one line into a chat window and answer questions about your business, you can run a kit. Your AI handles the technical work and explains what it's doing in plain English.

What does "one sitting" mean?

How do I get the kit after I buy?

At checkout you can add your GitHub username — it's optional. With it, we invite that account to your kit's private repository within minutes, and your AI connects to it directly. Without it, your kit is ready as a zip download on your order page the moment payment clears. Either way, you paste one line into your AI and it takes over.

What will I pay besides the kit?

The kit is one-time, and we never take a cut of your sales. The services your business runs on have their own costs — typically a domain (about $12/yr) and card-processing fees when you get paid; the default stack's free tiers cover the rest at the start. Your AI tells you each cost before you commit to it, during setup — nothing appears later that it didn't name first.

Do you set up my LLC or business entity?

No. Kits launch the working business — website, payments, email, socials — but registering a legal entity (an LLC or corporation) and handling taxes stay with you, and plenty of founders start as sole proprietors and formalize later. That's a decision to make with a licensed professional, not with us. Do I need my own Stripe, Vercel, and domain?

Only if you want to own everything — that's the kit's default path: real accounts in your name, on free tiers, with your AI naming each cost before you commit (usually just the domain and card fees). Prefer zero setup? The Hosted Starter Kit is the same kit with hosting bundled in: your business page lives on our site — first 3 months included, then $12/month, cancel anytime — and payments run through the app you already use, at that app's standard rates. Graduate to your own domain whenever you're ready; the kit is yours either way.

Does this work outside the US?

Yes. A kit is playbooks and templates your own AI runs on your own computer — nothing in it is US-only — and the stack it builds on isn't US-bound either: your database, hosting, email, and domain work the same from almost anywhere. The one place geography actually bites is taking card payments, because Stripe only opens accounts in about 46 countries. So the kit checks yours first: before you create a single account, your AI asks where the business is registered and checks it against Stripe's current list — you find this out in the first five minutes, not in week three. If Stripe doesn't serve your country, your AI says so plainly and talks through a local processor instead — Paystack, Razorpay, or whoever serves your market. Everything else in the kit still works; only the payments playbook won't apply as written, and you'd wire that one part yourself. One thing worth naming honestly: the legal-page templates are a starting point, not local advice — the rules where you are are yours to check with a professional.

I'm in the EU or UK — will I be charged VAT?

Yes, and you don't have to do anything about it. On EU and UK orders Stripe acts as the merchant of record: it works out the VAT for your country, adds it at checkout, and collects and remits it to your tax authority — so it never becomes your paperwork. The prices on this page are for the kit itself, which means your checkout total is higher by your local rate: a $129 Launch Kit bought from Germany comes to $153.51 with 19% VAT. Stripe issues the receipt. Buying for a business rather than yourself? There's an "I'm purchasing as a business" option at checkout for your VAT number. Everywhere else, the US included, you pay the listed price.

Can my business run in Spanish — or another language?

Yes, and it's an AI action, not a settings toggle: tell your AI the language during the interview and it builds your site, customer emails, and posts in Spanish (or bilingual — many of the businesses kits fit serve both). The kit's own instructions are written in English today; your AI reads them and works with you in whichever language you choose.

Is this a subscription?

The kits are not. You pay once and the kit is yours for life — use it, reuse it, come back to it next year. No renewal, no seat licenses, no locked features. The one optional subscription is hosting: the Hosted Starter Kit bundles the kit with hosting on our site — first 3 months included, then $12/month, cancel anytime by emailing support. Cancel and the page comes down when your period ends; the kit stays yours for life.

What's the Gate Guarantee?

The kit checks its own work: every playbook ends in a pass/fail check, and the built-in kit-doctor report shows the state of every check. Complete all 8 playbooks, and if a check stays failing — and support can't get it passing within 5 business days — email your kit-doctor report within 60 days of purchase and half your money comes back. You keep the kit and everything you built. The kit either proves it worked, or you get half back.

Can I get a refund?

Not for a change of mind. A kit is a digital download that's yours for life the moment you buy — like a book, it can't be un-read or handed back. The exception we volunteer is the Gate Guarantee above: finish the playbooks, and if a pass/fail check stays failing that support can't fix, your kit-doctor report gets you half back.
